Public Law and Human Rights

Zoë is a trainee solicitor in our Public Law and Human Rights team.

On joining Bindmans in March 2020, Zoe worked on the civil claims for compensation arising out of the fire at Grenfell Tower assisting partners and solicitors on both individual cases and on generic issues.  Her caseload included claims brought under Human Rights Act, the Fatal Accidents Act, the Equality Act as well in negligence for Personal Injury. Zoe is continuing her training in the Public Law team. 

Zoe is currently working on a mixture of public and private law matters, including a group action arising out of the TOEIC scandal and a group action in relation to police delays investigating historic sexual offences.

Education and career
  • Zoe completed the LLB in International Law at Lancaster University, which included a year spent in Croatia focusing on Human Rights and Victimology
  • She then completed an Immigration LLM at Queen Mary University London
  • Zoe joined Bindmans as a paralegal in March 2020
