We are pleased to have had a full-page feature on our new Social Justice Fund in The Law Society Gazette, and hope that our 10% fund will lead to a new precedent in the legal industry.
The Bindmans Social Justice Fund is an industry first which allocates 10% of our business client fees to support individuals in gaining access to justice. It serves the joint purpose of supporting individuals in having access to the legal services they need, while helping our corporate clients to improve their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) scores, enhancing their impact across the value chain through socially responsible legal services.
It is spearheaded by Gabrielle Plews, Head of our Corporate and Commercial team.
Gabrielle spoke to the Gazette about her vision for the Social Justice Fund, and how she hopes this will set a new precedent for the legal industry.
Gabrielle says:
When I envisaged this concept, it was with Bindmans in mind. Only a law firm with their vision and ethos could deliver this kind of change to the business world and legal services market.
