Carmen is a trainee solicitor in our Public Law and Human Rights team.

Carmen is a trainee solicitor in the Public Law and Human Rights team. She assists solicitors in the team and primarily works on Court of Protection cases, civil claims under the Human Right Act 1998, and inquests. She has experience working on matters where instructions are received from the Official Solicitor. 

Prior to joining the Public Law and Human Rights team, Carmen was a trainee solicitor in the Housing and Property Litigation team, where she gained experience working on a wide range of housing matters, and matters relating to fire safety regulations.

Prior to joining Bindmans, Carmen worked as a paralegal in the housing department of a legal aid law firm in London. Before entering law, she obtained experience within the charity sector, promoting the rights of those who have recently migrated to the UK.

  • Carmen graduated from the University of Manchester with an LLB in Law
