Christian is a trainee solicitor in our Private Client team.
Christian is a trainee solicitor in our Private Client team, the second seat in his training contract. He assists Amrit Rana in a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters, including will drafting, estate and trust administration, contentious estates and trusts, and a range of Court of Protection matters. The work also involves providing bespoke advice to clients dealing with their estate planning needs, including succession planning, preserving wealth, and tax mitigation.
He joined the firm as a paralegal in the Public Inquiry team in March 2019, representing the bereaved and survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire. He began a training contract in the same team in September 2021.
Christian’s work as a member of the team focusing on the second phase of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry involved investigating the primary causes of the severity of the fire, concerns raised by residents, the policies and training processes of the London Fire Brigade and the National Fire Rescue Service, the testing of materials used on the tower, and further issues related to the Inquiry’s Terms of Reference. He also played an active part in other teams with cases relating to actions against the police, and with cases in the Court of Protection.
Education and career
- Christian graudated with a BA in History (Hons) from the University of Exeter in 2016.
- He went on to complete the LLB (Hons) in Law at the University of Exeter in 2018.
- He commenced his training contract with Bindmans in September 2021.
