Miranda Critchley

Miranda is a trainee solicitor in our Public Law and Human Rights team.

Miranda assists with judicial review challenges and a range of civil claims against public authorities. She works with members of the team on civil claims brought by a number of individuals who were falsely accused by the Home Office of cheating on a TOEIC English language test, and in public law challenges on behalf of asylum-seekers to secure the provision of appropriate support and accommodation. Miranda also works with members of the housing team on housing and homelessness matters.

Before joining Bindmans, Miranda taught at a number of universities in London and was a trade union rep for the Universities and Colleges Union (“UCU”).

Education and career
  • Miranda graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2013 with a BA in History.
  • She holds an MA and PhD from UCL.
