Shelly Pastakia is a solicitor in our Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury team. She also assists with the civil claims for compensation arising from the fire at Grenfell Tower.
Shelly has acted for those injured in a wide range of personal injury cases, claims arising from road traffic accidents and accidents at work.
Shelly assisted on claims for those who have suffered catastrophic injuries including head injury and amputation cases.
Shelly has also some experience of working on claims arising from clinical negligence including injuries sustained at birth and due to surgical errors.
Education and career
- Shelly obtained an LLB (Hons) from De Montfort University in Leicester in 2013, following which she completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, London, in 2015.
- On completion of the Legal Practice Course in 2015, she joined a local Luton high street firm as a paralegal. Shelly completed her training contract there and qualified as a solicitor in September 2019.
