Suella Braverman and the Government continue to come down hard on the right to protest and freedom of expression

People taking part in pro-Palestinian demonstrations continue to be subject to hostile policing and hostile rhetoric from prominent politicians and the right-wing media.

In London last week, some were arrested simply for refusing to remove a keffiyeh, the traditional Palestinian scarf. In Manchester, a person was arrested for breach of the peace for wearing a Palestinian flag.

If you are protesting this weekend and at any other time, it is essential you know your rights.

Our colleagues at Liberty have prepared an online guide to your rights.
