We are proud to announce that Yagmur Ekici, Associate at Bindmans’ Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury department, has been shortlisted by the Law Society in its annual Excellence Awards. The awards celebrate the dedication, enthusiasm and passion that solicitors devote to serving their clients. Law Society president Christina Blacklaws said:

There are more than 9,000 firms and 140,000 solicitors in England and Wales and to be shortlisted for an Excellence Award is to be recognised as being among the best of the best

Yagmur joined the firm as a paralegal in 2010. She was offered a training contract 10 months later and qualified as a solicitor in 2013. She was then promoted to Associate last year. She has an excellent track-record in running complex and high-value cases, confidently establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, experts and barristers.  She has received outstanding feedback from clients since qualification in June 2013 due to her straight talking yet compassionate approach while working tirelessly to ensure that claimants can get their lives back on track.

Jon Crocker, Managing Partner at Bindmans and Head of Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence commented:

Yagmur is a solicitor of exceptional intelligence and ability but underpinning her work is her warmth and compassion. These are the qualities that drive her on and ensure she continues to provide such a wonderful service for our clients. And these are the reasons why she continues to receive such heartfelt references from our clients

This year’s event is due to take place on Wednesday the 17th of October at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London. Good luck to everyone who has been shortlisted.
