The Family Law Awards bring the family law community together annually to celebrate the success and achievements of family lawyers, and the vital contribution that they make to society.
Award categories
Family Law Partner of the Year
Alison Leivesley, partner and Head of our Family and Matrimonial team, has been shortlisted for the Family Law Partner of the Year award, which celebrates those that have made a major contribution to the field of family law through their practice. Alison specialises in all aspects of Family law, but is particularly well-known for her Children law practice, and is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in public law children, private law children, domestic abuse, forced marriage and honour-based violence. Family Law Young Solicitor of the Year
Hannah Marshall, Associate in our Family and Matrimonial team, has been shortlisted for Young Solicitor of the Year. This category recognises those who have stood out from their peers by demonstrating that they have the skills and knowledge to become a leading family lawyer of the future. Hannah frequently acts in complex cross-border children disputes, and is growing her expertise in cross-border public law children proceedings and financial remedies work. She is listed as a key lawyer in the Legal 500 and is commended as a ‘young practitioner to look out for’ and the ‘dream solicitor to work with’. Find out more.
Children Law Team of the Year
The Bindmans Family and Matrimonial team have been shortlisted for Children Law Team of the Year. The team have outstanding breadth and depth of experience across every area of Children law, including the radicalisation of children, trafficking, deprivation of liberty, female genital mutilation, child abduction, and international relocation. With a national reputation for handling complex cases and international matters, many of the team’s cases involve niche areas of law and result in law-making changes. Find out more.
