Immigration, Asylum and Nationality

Vincent is a trainee solicitor in our Immigration, Asylum and Nationality team.

He assists on a wide range of immigration and asylum law matters including applications for family members such as partners and children, indefinite leave applications including refugee settlement and for victims of domestic violence, leave to remain applications on private life and Article 3 ECHR grounds, asylum appeals, and judicial review.

Vincent previously worked in the Actions against Police and State team where he assisted on a range of cases including inquests and claims for compensation against the police and state.

Prior to joining Bindmans, Vincent worked as a paralegal for an immigration firm. He also volunteered as an advocate at the Free Representation Unit and has contributed as a volunteer reporter to The Justice Gap.

Education and career
  • Vincent graduated from the University of Sussex with a degree in law (LLB) in 2015.
  • He joined Bindmans in 2019 as a paralegal in the Immigration team, before starting his training contract in 2021.
  • He completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law in 2020.
