10% of corporate client fees to be paid into Bindmans Social Justice Fund
10% of fees paid to us by our business clients go into our social justice fund to support disadvantaged individuals and ordinary people who, due to changes in permitted legal system funding, are increasingly finding it impossible to gain access to justice.
It’s a unique concept that allows our business clients to have a direct impact on increasing access to social justice, while simultaneously achieving their own ESG goals.
This fund is a key pillar of our Corporate and Commercial services offering.
Current beneficiaries of our Social Justice Fund
At the present time in 2025/26, Bindmans is partnering with two registered charities dedicated to social justice, donating 100% of the social justice fund, without deduction and split on a 50/50 basis, to supporting the work they do in providing access to legal services for people in need. These are:
The Access to Social Justice Foundation, a Law Society accredited organisation that increases access to justice for disadvantaged individuals.
Just For Kids Law which provides legal advice and representation to children in contact with the criminal justice system.
The Bindmans Social Justice Fund is led by partner Gabrielle Plews, Head of our Corporate and Commercial team.
The 10% Social Justice Fund is a unique concept that allows our business clients to directly impact and positively increase access to social justice while simultaneously achieving their ESG goals.
Only a law firm with Bindmans’ vision and ethos could deliver this kind of change to the business world and legal services market.
It’s an inspiring achievement and a great journey ahead for our Corporate and Commercial Team.

Our two partner charities say:
Access to Justice Foundation and Bindmans’ 10% Social Justice Fund are a perfect fit with shared track records on access to justice. We will work together to ensure that disadvantaged individuals have access to the life changing legal advice they need.
Clare Carter, Chief Executive Officer, Access to Justice Foundation
We are proud to partner with Bindmans whose commitment to ensure access to justice aligns with our mission at Just for Kids Law. This collaboration, made possible through their innovative Social Justice Fund, will assist us to continue delivering trauma-informed and anti-racist direct legal representation for children and young people, alongside fighting for wider change.
