1 min

Tanya Goldfarb, Head of our Business Immigration Team and Vincent Palfi, solicitor in the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality team, were delighted to host a webinar with the University and College Union (UCU) today, detailing the impending changes to the Immigration Rules that are part of the government’s stated aim to reduce net migration by way of its ‘five-point plan’, as announced in December 2023.

The webinar covered a number of key aspects of those changes, including increases to the general salary threshold and going rates for Skilled Workers, and the increase to the minimum income requirement for UK partner visa applications.

The webinar also addressed important changes to how individuals prove their immigration status in the UK by way of an ‘eVisa’. For more information about this, please see our post here
